Our program

Live together

The best community starts with home. Whether in same house or distributed across Abilene, our fellows share life together for the duration of their cohort, surrounded by intergenerational community that provides stability, nurture, and a true sense of home. This all creates the context for your growth in our program. The day-to-day joys and struggles of life in community have consistently proven to be one of the most powerfully formative components of the Eden Fellows.

Learn together

Fellows receive high quality theological training, exploring ways in which the good news of Jesus connects to our context now. Our partnership with the Graduate School of Theology at Abilene Christian University provides academic rigor to our program. The 18-hour Certificate in Regenerative Culture (and a full master’s degree if you choose to stick around a little longer) is designed to deepen your faith while preparing you to engage a world that is asking increasingly difficult questions.

grow together

A life of sustainable and sustaining spiritual discipline. Regular retreat to beautiful and enriching destinations. Compelling conferences with engaging and relevant material. The world is in desperate need of passionate young people with the spiritual depth to maintain that passion, and sharing in these practices and experiences helps our fellows to prepare for that life.

The Eden Fellows program runs from August 15th through May 31st.

The application deadline is December 31st, with rolling applications accepted until the year’s cohort is filled. We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-25 cohort, so apply now!

Living arrangements and possibilities for work are determined in cooperation between individual fellows and the leadership team and are flexible depending on needs and availability.

There is a program fee to facilitate the opportunities the Eden Fellows year entails, but we’ll help you as you aim to raise 100% of what you need by inviting your family, friends, home church, and mentors to invest in your Fellows experience through prayer and financial support. Our leadership team will work with you to determine how that will best work in your unique situation, as well as to equip you for that task. And any gifts offered to the program are fully tax-deductible!
